People inhabiting the SYA operational area do not violate human rights; ensure social justice; and share local resources equitably, irrespective of gender, caste, creed, religion and political affiliation.

Our Objective
To work and promote development and welfare programmes and projects and its related activities in the following mentioned sectors in all over Indian States and Union Territories –
Star Youth Association(SYA)
By 1979, a District level NYK was established at Kurnool town of Andhra Pradesh State. The Coordinator of Kurnool Nehru Yuvak Kendra (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. Govt. of India), Sri Mohammad Khaleelulla became interested and excited about big hearts of Velugodu teenagers. He specifically traveled to Velugodu village to interact with un-registered Youth Literacy Association, Velugodu and advised its members to register an association, under Societies Registration Act, so that the group can access not only NYK programmes but also other government schemes. By that time the membership of the association rose from 15 to 82. LAV took the advice of NYK Coordinator and registered Youth Literacy Association as “Star Youth Association” (SYA), on 10 November 1980, with the Registrar of Societies, Kurnool.

Nandyal & Kurnool Districts of Andhra Pradesh State
As part of the AP Jal Jeevan Mission in Nandyal and Kurnool districts, Star Youth Association (ISA) supported the Government of Andhra Pradesh’s goal of ensuring Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) in every rural home.
Rural Drinking Water Supply Scheme
Under the RWSS Jal Jeevan Mission in Balangir Circle, Odisha, Star Youth Association (ISA) partnered with the Government to ensure Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) for all rural households.
Financial Aid to Widows to send their children to schools
Star Youth Association extended monthly financial aid to 23 widows, providing ₹2,000–₹3,000 per month to support their children’s education and basic livelihood needs.

World Environment Day
We at Star Youth Association(SYA) celebrate World Environment Day every June 5 by hosting tree plantation drives, clean-up activities, and environmental awareness sessions.
Human Rights Day
On December 10, we celebrate Human Rights Day to promote the values of equality, dignity, and justice for all.
International Women’s Day
We celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8 by honoring the achievements of women and advocating for gender equality.
World Water Day
World Water Day is observed on March 22 to highlight the importance of clean and accessible water.
